Cannúa is located in a rural area in the municipality of Marinilla,
in eastern Antioquia, Colombia. Just 45 minutes from José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) and 90 minutes from Medellín.
Public tansportation
From Medellin you can take public transportation from the northern transportation terminal located near the Caribe metro station. There you can find the SOTRAMAR transportation company that travels every 30 minutes from the terminal to the municipality of Marinilla. Once you are in the municipality of Marinilla you must look for transportation from the town to the Gaviria area, which is 9 km from the main park.
Private transportation to and from the airport or to Medellin.
We have a pick-up and transfer service from the airport or from Medellin in a high-end private vehicle.

Entrance by private vehicle
Head towards Marinilla on the Medellín – Bogotá highway. Once in Marinilla, turn off towards Guatapé and continue for just 5 more minutes until you pass Germioriente and the municipal meat store on the right side. At that point, you will see a cholao kiosk at the entrance to Vereda Gaviria with an unpaved road also on the right. You enter there following the signs for Cannúa for 6 km.
